For the Parents
Parents who are involved with their child's education is the best predictor of student success. This family involvement is essential to students staying committed to their education - not only through a school year, but through the entire course of schooling. Therefore, we value all our parents and encouraged them to always be actively involved in their child's education and also support our initiatives to improve the learning experience.
Safety First
We strive to promote the protection of all our students from incidents that will adversely affect them. School safety is linked to improved student and school outcomes. In particular, emotional and physical safety in school are related to academic performance. As such, although we are recently out of the covid-19 pandemic, we still promote the protocols that govern a safe learning environment for all our students and staff.
Arriving at School
It is very important for children to develop habits of arriving on time at an early age, beginning from the time they start school. Ensure that your child doesn't miss out on the important learning activities that happen early in the day when they are most alert. In addition, arriving at school on time allows students to experience positive interactions with others and participate more fully in learning activities.
Uniform
Wearing uniforms enhances school pride, unity, and community spirit. School uniforms improve student performance by helping students focus on learning rather than fashion. Also, when “students all wear the same outfit, they become less concerned about how they fit in". Therefore, we enforce strict adherence to the school uniform policy and expect that all parents will abide this policy when sending their child to school.
Holidays & Breaks
Jamaica is a vibrant and culturally rich island nation in the Caribbean. We celebrate a variety of holidays throughout the year. These holidays reflect the country's history, culture, and religious traditions.
Schools Menu
The importance of a nutritional school menu cannot be overstated. A well-planned and balanced menu plays a crucial role in supporting the overall health, growth, and development of children.
